Which printers it fits

• A1 and A1 mini: needs the AMS Hub - A1 Series. Up to 4 units, but not at the same time as an AMS Lite.
• A2L: one unit plugs in with the parts in the printer's box, and it can share the printer with an AMS Lite. From the second unit on, add a 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter.
• X1 and P1: one unit needs a filament buffer, a PTFE tube coupler and a 4-pin cable, which a printer that already runs an AMS has. Two or more units need the AMS Hub in place of the buffer. Up to 4 units in total.
• P2S: the Combo's filament buffer takes up to 2 units; a P2S bought without an AMS needs its own buffer. From the third unit on, add a 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter. Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro.
• H2D, H2C and X2D: up to 2 units plug straight in. From the third unit on, add a 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter (the H2C uses the H2 version, and one comes in its box). Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro.
• H2S: one unit plugs straight in. From the second unit on, add a 4-in-1 PTFE Adapter. Up to 4 AMS 2 Pro.
• Drying power: on an A1, A1 mini, A2L, X1 or P1, every AMS 2 Pro needs its own Switching Adapter to dry. The H2D, H2C, H2S, P2S and X2D power one drying unit; add an adapter for each extra one, and on the P2S and X2D also to keep printing while it dries.
• Each AMS 2 Pro comes with its own 6-pin cable. Use it, not a cable from a 1st-generation AMS.
