Bambu Lab Laser Upgrade Kit - H2D/H2C (10W)

The Laser Upgrade Kit turns your Bambu Lab H2D or H2C into a laser engraver and cutter. It includes the 10W laser module plus the parts that make the printer laser-ready: the left, right and front laser safety windows, the top laser protection plate, the laser platform, air assist, smoke ventilation and the emergency stop. Cut and engrave plywood, basswood, bamboo, cork, dark acrylic, paper and PU leatherette; engrave stone, ceramic and opaque glass; mark metal, all on the same machine that prints your parts.

Key Features

• 10W Blue Laser Included - 455 nm semiconductor laser module, engraves at up to 400 mm/s and cuts basswood plywood up to 5 mm.
• Contactless 3D Mesh - Micro Lidar measures height and maps the surface without touching it, so you can engrave curved and uneven objects.
• Air Assist - An external air pump sends high-speed air that cools the cut line for cleaner edges and less charring.
• Flame Sensor - The chamber watches for fire and alerts you with a buzzer and a push notification.
• Class 1 Laser System - With all laser protection fitted and working, the complete printer meets Class 1 laser safety.
• Room to Grow - H2D and H2C owners can add the 40W laser module later for thicker cuts and faster engraving.

What You Can Make

Signage and name plates, wooden gift boxes and ornaments, engraved coasters and cutting boards, leatherette patches, dark acrylic tags, cut plywood models, marked metal panels and jigs for your own prints. Clear, white and blue acrylic cannot be lasered.

Before You Buy

• Fits H2D and H2C Only - Fits the Bambu Lab H2D and H2C only (H2D Pro: ask us). This is the kit that makes a standard printer laser-ready; the laser modules alone do not work on a printer without it.
• H2C Hotends - On the H2C, take the hotends out of the holder before each laser job.
• Software - Laser jobs run in Bambu Suite (Windows or Mac, Bambu account), not Bambu Studio. Update the printer firmware before installing.
• Installation - Installation takes about 1.5 hours and Bambu calls it an advanced install. Follow the Bambu Lab Wiki guide and video.
• Ventilation - Laser work needs the included 2 m vent pipe routed outdoors, or a Bambu Smoke Purifier (not included).
• Safety - Never leave a laser job unattended and keep a CO2 fire extinguisher nearby.
