Bambu Lab AMS Hub - A1 / A1 Mini

Overview

The part an A1 or A1 mini needs to run the AMS 2 Pro, the AMS HT or a 1st-generation AMS, up to 4 units in any mix. Those units push filament with their own motors, and the hub keeps that push in balance with the printer's extruder.

• Print the hub bracket first: Bambu Lab has one model for the A1 and one for the A1 mini. It mounts on the X-axis motor cover and the hub clips onto it.
• Update the printer to firmware 01.07.00.00 or later.
• Unplug the AMS Lite, change the AMS type on the printer's screen (Settings > AMS Options > AMS Type), then connect the new unit. The hub cannot run an AMS Lite together with other AMS units.
• Use the long tube (about 600 mm) on the A1 and the short one (about 520 mm) on the A1 mini.
• Do not use the filament buffer or AMS Hub made for X1 and P1 printers on an A1 or A1 mini: Bambu Lab says it can be damaged and is not covered by warranty.
