Which plates need glue? The Engineering Plate always does. Smooth PEI and the High Temperature sheet need it for everything except PLA, and the original Cool Plate needs it even for PLA. Textured PEI and Cool Plate SuperTack do not, though a thin layer helps PETG come off Textured PEI. Never put glue on Starry, Galaxy, Diamond or Carbon Fiber plates. Spread a thin, even layer on a clean plate, and wash it off later with soap and water.
